Yes. You can choose $0 in monthly subscription fees while still running a professional POS. In that case, a service fee is added based on order size, with a minimum of $0.35 and a maximum of $1.00. If you would rather avoid that fee, you can choose the monthly subscription option instead.
How do payments work with Stripe?
Use Stripe hardware through the Stripe WisePOS terminal, which integrates easily with the TABL Portal. Create a Stripe account or connect an existing one, and you are ready to take card-present payments. Payments are processed through your Stripe account. Payouts are typically next day and go directly to your bank account.
What are Stripe's in-person processing fees?
Stripe's US in-person card-present pricing is a flat 2.7% + $0.05 per successful transaction for domestic cards. Rates can vary by country and card type, so check Stripe for current pricing in your region. TABL Portal does not set these fees.
Do I need special hardware?
No special tablet is needed. TABL Portal works on any tablet with internet access, and hardware can be provided if needed. If you request hardware, we can supply up to two tablets and one Stripe WisePOS terminal.
Can I update my menu anytime?
You can update your menu anytime in the portal. If you prefer, your dedicated support team can make changes for you. Either way, updates are real time across the POS and menus.
